DC Arc welding – In this type of arc welded, the machine uses direct current like that which is produced by a car battery to create an electric ark. The very portable nature of the unit makes it perfect for working camping or in new locations because breaking down and resettling is easy. This makes it ideal for the outdoors and on a construction site.
TIG Welder- Tungsten inert gas welders, — the tungsten does not get spent==> THE END This is upgraded machine that works best with thin gauge material or odd shaped pieces to weld. It is also a little more difficult to use, but you get really nice and clean welds.
MIG Welder — The MIG welder offers a welding wire that is fed through the line of work. It is widely used in industry not only due to its speed but also because of the wide range of metals which can be welded via this method. Large manufacturers often use it because some of the work can be done easily and at great speed.
Wear protective gear! Safety gloves, helmets and aprons will ensure that you are not scorched by all these sparks flying around. This is a particularly important preventive step for your eyes, which should be protected by the use of welding helmet with appropriate filter.
